Simple Green-St. Patrick's Day Design
I have had a crazy few weeks with my move but I am finally starting to get settled. I am "almost" unpacked and getting organized in my new home. I wasn't able to do much over the course of these few weeks because of how hectic my schedule was but I finally sat down last night and did a quick design. I went with green colors for a St. Patrick's Day theme. I am Irish and St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, so why not? It is a very simple and easy to do design and can be done pretty quickly. It's nothing to flashy but a cute option for q quick design and for shorter nails. I included a few pics above to show the design but I also included the tutorial video from my YouTube channel. Please let me know what you think and check out my other designs! I love to hear feedback! Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed and I will have more designs very soon!

A Collection of Rainbows
I love colorful designs and that prompted me to do a rainbow design, and by the time I finished my first, I had thought of a few other interpretations. So these are all rainbow type designs done in different ways.
This is the classic rainbow, diagonal across he entire nail. When I say classic, I mean that I used all the right(as close as I had) colors and did them in the standard order. (ROYGBIV-Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet)
I like this one very much. I had thought about separating the colors with thin black lines but I also like to see the colors just overlap each other.
The next one was almost the same as the first, except I went horizontally across the nail with all the colors. I used different tints of most colors, but kept the same type of layout, just kept it going across the nail
This is one that I think is also perfect for St. Patrick's Day, which is right around the corner, but that isn't what I had in mind when doing it. I did a small pot of gold on the left side of the nail. I used gold polish to fill the pot with the gold coins :-) Then I used bright colors and did rainbow streaks from the pot of gold stretching to the right side and top of the nail. I used pink instead of any purples so it would stand out a bit more on the end of the rainbow.
Three different rainbow styles? Do you have a favorite? I think I like the diagonal one the best but all are bright and colorful! Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed and please leave any comments or questions below! :-)

Crazy Hearts/Valentine's Day Design
A funky Valentine's Day design with all the "romantic" colors. I am running out of Valentine's Day designs, so I am not sure how many more I will have before the day is upon us but I am working on a few designs that are not holiday or special occasion. Anyway, enough of my rambling and onto the tutorial.
I didn't take pictures in between putting on each stripe but that's what I did. I picked four Valentine's type colors. I chose China Glaze-Bing Cherry(dark & shimmery red color), Sally Hansen- Xtreme Wear-Fuchsia Power(a bright pink), China Glaze- White Out(a bright white), and China Glaze- I Wanna Lei Ya(a more subtle and soft pink). I did a diagonal stripe of each color along the nail. I made them as even as I could but they aren't even at all, lol.
After the colors were all applied, I used Kiss nail paint (Black) and separated each color with a thin black line.
I used the same colors and created hearts. Starting with the bottom of the nail, what would be the cuticle area, I made a heart in the lighter pink area. I decided to use the same colors but go the other way with the pattern. So for the base colors, I went from cuticle to tip with light pink, then white, then bright pink, then dark red. For the hearts, I did the opposite. So the first heart was dark red, as shown in the pic. I titled the heart toward the left a bit.
The next heart was the bright pink. I went the opposite way with this heart and tilted it to the right
Then the white heart...which I then went opposite of the one before it again and made it tilt left, like the first heart did.
And finally the softer pink on the dark red, which tilted to the right.
This was the finally product. This was a design that I was creating it as I painted but I was actually quite happy with it.
Not as even as I would like but sometimes it nice to see things aren't exactly perfect. I don't know... what does everyone else think? Is anyone painting their nails special for Valentine's Day? I know I will but I still haven't settled on a design! Well thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I encourage anyone to give this a try. Very easy and very cute!!!

Short Pink Fishnet Nails
I didn't realize how terrible my lighting was so I am sorry the first two pictures aren't so good. I did a tutorial on the black and pink fishnet design and decided to do it on my natural nails. My natural nails are kind of short ,because lately I have been doing a lot of fake and acrylic nails so I decided to give my nails a rest from all the adhesives. I cleaned them up and let them breathe for like a day then did this design. Again, my natural nails are kind of short, so this shows that this design can work for any nail length.
So this is currently what my nails are sporting...what design are you currently showing off? I may redo them over the next few days (I love painting them and trying to find new designs!) Hope you enjoyed reading, and please leave comments or questions below! Thanks for stopping by!

White Pawprints Nail Design
I did this design petty randomly the other night. I saw a different but similar design in a catalog and decided to do an interpretation on that. I also have been doing a lot of Valentine's Day designs so this was a little break. I started with an all black base coat. I used Midnight Magic by CoverGirl because it is a very shimmery and light black. I did two coats to give it a darker color but I still like the color even with 1 coat.
The pawprints are as easy as they look. I used ArtClub's white lacquer and did larger, oblong circles with 4 tiny dots above it. This creates the pawprint. I did another on the right just slightly higher. Looking at it after, I wish I would have put the second one a little higher, to give the look of the pawprints walking across the nail.
The picture above shows the fourth pawprint I started.
On the edges of the nail, I did half off the nail. I think this made it look more like real animal tracks.
The left side is above and the right side is below. Very easy to do, very fast. The colors can always be switched to make it a bit funkier or to just add color. Hope you liked it! Leave comments or questions! Thanks for reading!~

Heart Manicure
I did this to my own nails last night. I did a dark red french tip with Mauve Frost by Wet & Wild. Then I drew a large heart on each nail. On the left hand, the hearts were off to the right side and on the right hand, the harts were off to the left.
I used a white Migi nail pen for the heart and then put little dots going along the edge of the red. After all the paint was placed, I used silver rhinestones for my thumb and ring fingers, adding them to the to of the nail, opposite side of the heart. Then I used pink rhinestones and did th rest of my fingers the same way. I was really happy wit the way they came out, very cute!!

Funky Pink French Tip with Heart/Valetine's Day Nail Design
This is a very easy to do design and can be done very quickly and in many different color combinations, just use the colors you like best. I am still working on different designs for Valentine's Day, since it is coming up so I used Valentine's Day colors.I started with a regular french manicured tip. I think for many designs, it makes it easier having the french tip on there. It me a better idea of space or helps me get as close to the exact middle as possible. Anyway, I used my hot pink polish (Sally Hansen-Bikini Pink), and drew diagonal lines on each side of the nail that met in the middle and top of french tip. Then I filled in that area with the same pink color. The pictures above and below show the pink area.
Then I used my red polish(ArtClub-red) and created a heart in the area the pink surrounded. If you shape the pink right, the middle makes the perfect bottom of a heart when you fill it in. The pictures above and below show the red heart I placed in the middle of the pink.

I grabbed my Migi nail polish pen, white color, and placed small little dots all along the edge of the pink on each side of the heart. The pictures to the left show the little white dots. I think this is a very simplistic but adorable design. I was happy with the way it looked. It kind of looks plain but I didn't want to add anything and ruin the cute look. Hope you like it and give it a try. If you try it, please take pictures or feel free to leave comments!

Cute Valentine's Day Heart Nails
I didn't take pictures of the beginning because I guess I just wasn't thinking! But I started this design with a Black base coat of polish (CoverGirl's Midnight Magic) and painted a pink french tip with Lilac Silk pink polish. Then I used a Migi nail pen, white polish, and drew a heart below the pink tip.
Once the white heart was drawn, I used the red Migi nail pen and drew a smaller heart under the big white heart. Sorry that the above picture is blurry, you can see the red heart better in the picture below.
After both hearts were in place, I used the red pen first and made small dots all over the nail, only in the black areas. Then I used the white pen and did the same thing, put little white dots all around the hearts in the black areas
Here are two picture of the final product. This is very simple and cute. It is a really good choice for Valentine's Day, I think, because of the color combination. Let me know if you like it, or have a variation on it~ I would love to see other ideas or interpretations!
